Mainland
1. Midgar Ruins The battered remains of what was once a collection of large slums, destroyed by the Meteor crisis. 2. Edge What little remained of Midgar that was reconstructed on it's outskirts. 3. Kalm What remains of a small town that was attacked by ShinRa in preparations for a new Reactor. 4. Healin A small mountain town known for its' hotel at the peak. 5. Mantle A military camp that was made to replace SOLDIER after the fall of ShinRa. 6. Fort Condor What was once a fort topped by a beautiful bird, it is now a resting spot for travelers and run by wise men. 7. Junon ShinRa's stronghold and a very polluted town. A. Anti- ShinRa Base An abandoned school that was renovated and utilized by Cloud's group as they fought the war on ShinRa. B. Chocobo Farm The stables where Chocobo boarding and training mostly occurs. C. Rogue Faction Hideout An abandoned warehouse in ruins where Sachiko and Monsoon hideout. D. ShinRa HQ East Formerly ShinRa's main place of operations before Sephiroth's attack. |
Central
11. Sanubia The ruins of the Al Bhed settlement. 12. Costa Del Sol Resort town that focuses on it's beaches, bars, and hotels. 13. Destiny Islands Two small islands between Mainland and Central. 14. North Corel A poor area surviving off the profit of their gondola leading to the Golden Saucer. 15. Gongaga Small forest town that has suffered tragedies due to the nearby Reactor. 16. Cosmo Canyon The center of Gaia's analysis. A Tribal settlement where most homes are in the sides of the canyon. 17. Nibelheim The reconstructed town that was burned down many years ago nestled between Mount Nibel. 18. Rocket Town A memorial to the rocket that was sacrificed in vain to try and stop the Meteor from hitting. E. Lucrecia's Cave The closed off caverns where Lucrecia's crystallized body remains. F. Golden Saucer The most famous amusement park in all of Gaia, but is surrounded by a long expanse of quicksand. G. WRO Base The base of operations for the World Regenesis Organization. H. Forest of the Ancients The forest of riddles and treasures guarded by the spirits of the Cetra. |
Spira
20. Besaid Island
A small island to the south of Spira's continent. It is a very peaceful land with minimal technology.
21. Kilika Island
A connector island between Besaid and Spira. Known for it's large boardwalk and shops.
22. Luca
The second largest city in Spira and home to the largest Blitzball arena. It is the main port of entrance to Spira.
23. Mi'ihen Highroad
A dirt roadway on wide open plains. Ruins lie along the sides while the path leads through canyons, sea and mountain cliffs.
24. Mushroom Rock Road
A sea reef covered cliffside that years of high waves and attacks from fiends eroded to form hidden pathways and secrets caves.
25. Djose
Abandoned village before entering the Moonflow. A small path leads to the Djose Temple, the only notable feature left in the area.
26. Guadosalam
City inside an underground cavern where the walls and walkways are twisted roots of trees in the Moonflow's north bank.
27. Macalania
A magical forest of glowing trees, surrounded with springs and winding trails. The pyreflies are more common here.
28. Bevelle
The capital of Spira, and initially the home of the Yevon religion and, later, the New Yevon party. It is known to be corrupt.
29. Mistral
A proper city on the edge of Spira. It's very cold and surrounded on most sides by water.
30. Bikanel Island
An island where the Al Bhed race took refuge after the genocide. It is now an abandoned territory.
31. Zanarkand Ruins
A former metropolis at Spira's northernmost edge that was destroyed by Sin for it's heavy Machina use.
J. The Moonflow
A large river that dissects Spira's main continent into halves. Moonlillies house the pyreflies at night and make the water glow.
K. The Farplane
Pyreflies react to visitors' memories to conjure an image of a person who has passed.It is located underground in Guadosalam.
L. Thunder Plains
An extensive flat land of dirt plains littered with lightning rods to attract the brutal lightning that plagues the land.
M. ShinRa HQ West
ShinRa's least commonly used base of operations.
N. Omega Ruins
A large, maze-like dungeon of dark passage ways.
O. The Calm Lands
The field where the final battle against Sin took place, and people come to rejoice in the safety and peace of it's expanse.
P. Mount Gagazet
Snow-covered, towering mountains considered to be sacred in Spira. It is home of the Ronso and formerly forbidden to all but summoners.

Frost
32. Icicle Village A small Inn town where mostly ShinRa personnel reside. 33. Modeoheim One of ShinRa's first Mako Extraction sites, it is mostly an abandoned scientist camp surrounded by an old, beaten village. 34. Bone Village A camp where excavators dig daily for new findings and research the science of excavation. 35. Fortuna Island An isolated island that is home to the Order of the Sword, a militant religion that worships Sparda. Q. Northern Crater A large, vertical cave of labyrinth-like trails that lead down to the planet's core and the deepest points of the lifestream. R. ShinRa HQ North ShinRa's main base, and the largest one built to date. It's home to most of it's strongest militants and Science Department. S. Forgotten City of the Ancients A coral and seashell based city, crumbling in a dried, crystallized river. It is a heavy site for the spirits of the Cetra to inhabit. |
Remnant
36. Limbo City A dusty, not-so-advanced city.It has a large quantity of Demons lurking about. 37. Atlas A large corporate town that is very heavily influenced by Dust sales. 38. Twilight Town A town forever in sunset, it's very calm and is home to a large clock tower that can be seen throughout most of Remnant. Z. Schnee World Headquarters The base of operations for the Schnee Dust Company. *. Devil May Cry A demon hunting contractor. #. Castle Oblivion A deserted castle on the peak of Remnant, surrounded on all sides by darkness. The outside is dark, but inside remains pristine. |
Outland
8. Mideel A former spa village surrounded by forests and hot springs, it is now a key entrance to the lifestream. 9. Banora Ruins Having been a beautiful and quiet town before ShinRa had it neutralized, it was the only place where Dumbapples were grown. 10. Ancient Temple Crater A huge, square-shaped crater in the middle of the woods where the Ancient Temple had collapsed when the Black Materia was extracted. |
Vytal
39. Vale A city known for it's proximity to Forever Fall, and contains the most prestigious combat school there is. 40. Domino City A city that is often the basis for card game tournaments and is known for it's anti-violent preference since the fall of Gozaburo Kaiba. 41. Vacuo A desert land that forces its inhabitants to adapt accordingly to survive. 42. Traverse Town A town that never sleeps-- it's outer walls make it a primary protection zone from Titans, but there is rarely any sunlight. 43. Radiant Garden Formerly a kingdom idolized for it's light, it's now a simple town surrounding the castle, undergoing restoration to its former luster. T. Forest of Forever Fall A forest of beautiful red trees, but littered with Grimm. U. Beacon Academy A prestigious combat training university where people go to become Huntsman and Huntresses. It has evolved beyond Grimm training. V. Schnee Dust Company The main production and distribution center for Energy Propellant called "Dust". W. Schnee Family Estate A large mansion that is heavily guarded and inhabited by the Schnee family. X. Safe Zone A fairground protected by large walls that keeps the titans out. People come here to rest when traveling, as well as celebrate. Y. Kaiba Corporation A company that produces gaming technology, and among one of the richest in the world. |
Orient
19. Wutai The battered, but optimistic remains of the town that was severely damaged in the war with ShinRa a long time ago. I. Fort Tamblin A fortress of the Wutai Army, which they used as a base to fight the forces of ShinRa during the last stages of the war. |
Independent
